With an affinity towards Italian sports cars, Novitec has taken to great lengths to ensure the utmost quality and style for Ferrari and Maserati models alike. We’ve already seen tuning programs for Maserati models such as the GranTurismo and the Quattroporte, so the next logical step for the primed tuning firm is the GranCabrio. Some may have expected this package to have come out long before it has, but perfection takes time and adding 150 HP to the sports car is rather close to perfection. Joining the power upgrade is a top speed that has been increased to 187 mph and a subtle aerodynamic package.

Pricing for the complete GranCabrio tuning program - including exterior and interior modifications - has yet to be announced, but if an engine upgrade is all that is desired then that will cost $26,800.

2010 Maserati GranCabrio Preview

After the great success of GranTurismo Maserati is now on its way to launch the Maserati GranCabrio convertible which is expected to be on road by second quarter of 2010.The 2010 Maserati GranCabrio is alo based on the Maserati GranTurismo platform. The car will be a four seater convertible with rear-wheel drive.

The 2010 Maserati GranCabrio will be Maserati’s first convertible produced at the Viale Ciro Menotti Maserati factory in Modena, Italy. The new Maserati GranCabrio is powered by Ferrari-sourced 4.7-liter V-8 standared engine.The car has a Power-operated folding canvas roof.The manufactoring of the new 2010 Maserati GranCabrio will starts at first half of 2010 and is made available by second quarter of 2010 to the customers.
