According to Nielsen,General Motor spended double on Advertisment in the first 6 Months

According to leading research firm Nielsen, General Motors nearly doubled its allotment of money for advertising in the first half of this year.

This study also showed, in the first half of 2010, the auto industry spent $3.5 billion on advertising, up 27 percent from the year-earlier period.

Though Nielsen didn't published GM's ad spending, but it said the total had surged 95 percent from the year-earlier period.

This is the same automaker who earlier filed for bankruptcy.
